The security services in Qalyubia were able to arrest the second accused in the incident of assaulting a young man inside the Abu Zaabal parking lot in the city of Khanka, while they continue their intensive efforts to pursue and arrest the third accused involved in the crime.
The investigating authorities had previously ordered the detention of the first accused, Sayed. S for 4 days pending investigations, after his involvement in the assault on the victim Mahmoud was proven. M using bladed weapons, which led to his being seriously injured and parts of his body being torn apart.
Investigations revealed that the three accused, Mr. S, and his brother Youssef. S (who was arrested today), and another person named Islam. They attacked the victim suddenly inside the Abu Zaabal parking lot, despite the existence of a previous dispute that was resolved about a month ago.
The security services had received a report of a quarrel in the parking lot, and it was found that the victim had suffered severe injuries in the back, hands and feet as a result of the assault on him with bladed weapons. He was taken to the hospital and detained due to the seriousness of his condition.
Earlier, the security services of the Qalyubia Security Directorate received notification of a quarrel occurring in Abu Zaabal parking lot in Khanka and the presence of an injured person.
The forces moved to the site of Al-Balagh, where Mahmoud was found injured. M. suffered severe injuries in the back, hands, and feet, as a result of the defendants assaulting him using bladed weapons, which caused his body to be seriously torn apart.
Initial investigations revealed that a previous quarrel had broken out between the two parties about a month ago, and a report was drawn up at that time and the dispute was ended. However, the victim was surprised while he was at work in Abu Zaabal’s office by the accused, namely Sayed. S, his brother and another stabbed him and tore his body apart.
The injured person was transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary medical care, where he was detained due to the seriousness of his condition.
The security services were able to arrest the first accused, and the rest of the accused are being pursued and arrested. A report on the incident was prepared, and the competent authorities took over direct investigations.
