Wael Jumaa, the former Al-Ahly club star, described the performance of Libyan referee Ahmed Al-Shalmani in a match Royal army Against red with scandal.

Wael Jumaa’s statements

Wael Gomaa said in television statements: The penalty kick awarded by Ahmed Al-Shalmani for the Royal Moroccan Army against Al-Ahly is completely incorrect, and Al-Ahly is paying the price for the referee’s errors in the match between Young Africans and the Royal Army, in which the Moroccan team was wronged by not awarding a correct goal.

He added: The Royal Moroccan Army will be compensated for the arbitration errors in the last match by awarding a fake penalty kick to Al-Ahly.

He continued: All the Royal Army players entered the penalty area during the execution of the penalty kick, and this is, to say the least, a scandal on the part of the referee, and the performance of the match referee is a scandal.

The first half of the match between Al-Ahly and the Royal Army ended with the latter leading with an unanswered goal, from a penalty kick scored by Mohsen Bourika after it was followed up after Mustafa Schubert saved it.
