The company producing the Mustafa Mahmoud series issued a statement resolving the dispute over work rights, confirming that it has the sole and exclusive ownership of all legal and moral rights to the project under official and documented contracts.

The statement explained that the rights to the life story of the late scientist were transferred to the producing company pursuant to an official agreement contract signed with the heirs of Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud, Mr. Adham Mustafa Mahmoud and Mrs. Amal Mustafa Mahmoud, on June 18, 2025, making it the only body responsible for the work before all parties.
Regarding what was said about the existence of previous contracts, the statement revealed the legal details that put an end to any other allegations, explaining that the old agreement with Mr. Ahmed Abdel-Aty, dated 2012, had legally expired due to the lapse of the period specified for implementation of 5 years.
The heirs have taken all legal measures since 2018, as official warnings were sent through the court stating that all legal powers of any previous party have expired.
A final warning was issued in February 2026 to confirm that the legal connection with any previous project that had nothing to do with the producing company had been completely cut off.
In its statement, the company stressed that the value of the late scientist, Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud, is too great to be involved in electronic wars or to occupy baseless committees and posts, stressing that the focus is currently focused on bringing the work to light in a way befitting the status of the deceased and his great history.
The producing company concluded its statement by announcing that an official clarification will be issued soon from the heirs of Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud, to put the dots on the letters and resolve the controversy once and for all before public opinion, while reserving all legal rights against any allegations that contradict the reality documented in the documents.
Al-Mutahidah channels had released a teaser promo for the series Mustafa Mahmoud Between Doubt and Certainty, script and dialogue by Mohamed Hisham Abeya, directed by Kamla Abu Zekry, and produced by Al-Mutahidah and Saadi-Gohar, which is scheduled to be shown in Ramadan 2027.
