Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, President cabinetmeeting, today, Thursday; At the government headquarters in the new capital, to follow up on the plan and work mechanisms in the second and third phases of the presidential initiative to develop the villages of the Egyptian countryside, “Hayat Karima”, in the presence of Engineer Ahmed Abdel Azim, Director of the “Dar Al-Handasah” Office, “Project Consultant”, and Eng. Ahmed Ramadan and Engineer Alaa Al-Zanati, officials in the “Dar Al-Handasah” Office.
Plan and work mechanisms for the second and third phases of the presidential initiative “A Decent Life”
At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister renewed his reference to the pivotal role of the presidential initiative “A Decent Life” in developing the villages of the Egyptian countryside, through the implemented development, social and other projects that contribute to improving and raising the efficiency of the level of services provided to the citizens of these villages in many sectors and fields, noting the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the continuing importance of working to quickly complete the various stages of the initiative and the projects it contains, in an effort to achieve the desired goals of launching this important initiative. Citizens feel an improvement in the level of quality and efficiency of services provided to them in many sectors.
Counselor Muhammad Al-Homsani, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, stated that during the meeting, the plan and work mechanisms for the projects of the second and third phases of the “Decent Life” presidential initiative were reviewed, in order to ensure that any observations were avoided and any challenges facing the implementation of the plans and projects of the first phase of the initiative were dealt with, in order to quickly implement the projects and enter service as soon as possible, in order to maximize the investments being pumped, and to achieve greater benefit for the targeted citizens within the villages and centers of the “Decent Life” presidential initiative.
Engineer Ahmed Abdel Azim indicated, during the meeting, that the projects of the second phase of the presidential initiative “A Decent Life” are scheduled to be implemented at the level of 59 centers in 20 governorates, within 1,667 villages, with about 927 villages falling within the scope of the work of the Ministry of Housing, while 740 villages of the villages of the second phase of the initiative fall within the scope of the work of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority, and 18,938 projects are scheduled to be implemented within the framework of this phase.
Engineer Ahmed Abdel Azim reviewed the proposal for the mechanisms for implementing the second and third phases of the “Decent Life” presidential initiative, in light of the challenges facing the implementation of the first phase projects, in an effort to avoid any obstacles and deal with any challenges that could affect the proposed timetables for completing the implementation of these two phases, and for their projects to enter service.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Prime Minister reiterated the necessity of expanding reliance on the local product in implementing the various projects of the second and third phases of the Presidential Initiative “A Decent Life,” pointing out that we have many advanced industries in many different sectors, which can cover the needs of these projects, and take into account the required and necessary specifications in this regard.
