The death toll from a collision between a private car and a transport vehicle on the Western Desert Road in the Sohag Governorate district rose to 5 deaths and one injury, all of them from one family.

5 people were killed and a girl was injured in a traffic accident on the Western Desert Road in Sohag

Major General Dr. Hassan Abdel Aziz, Assistant Minister of the Interior and Director of Sohag Security, received notification of the accident near the Bahri Cement Factory, Juhayna Entrance. Immediately, the security services moved in, supported by five ambulances, along with firefighting and ground rescue vehicles. The initial examination revealed that the accident resulted from a collision between a private car and a transport vehicle, which led to the immediate death of 5 people and the injury of one girl.

Cairo 24 obtained the names of the victims: Mamdouh Muhammad Abu Zaid – 30 years old, Jawaherji, Muhammad Mamdouh – 6 months old, Sabah Muhammad – 65 years old, Dina Ahmed – 27 years old, and Donia Ahmed – 24 years old, while Dina Muhammad Ragheb – 19 years old was injured and transferred to the new Sohag University Hospital in Al-Kamil to receive the necessary treatment. The bodies were transferred to Juhayna Central Hospital, and they are all residing in the Juhayna Center district.

The necessary report on the incident shall be prepared in preparation for presenting it to the competent investigation authorities.
