The Ministry of Youth and Sports issued an official statement regarding what was circulated about some incidents related to youth entities, as well as some recently established specific youth federations.

The official statement issued by the Ministry of Youth and Sports stated: In light of the recently monitored content published on social media, and what has been circulated regarding some incidents related to youth entities, as well as some recently established specific youth federations, the Ministry of Youth and Sports confirms its careful follow-up of all that is raised in this regard.
Based on the Ministry’s keenness to promote the principles of transparency and good governance, it was decided to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the experience of youth entities, covering various organizational, administrative and technical aspects, and examining the extent of the feasibility achieved by these entities, the extent to which their performance is compatible with the goals for which they were established, and the efficiency of use of available resources, in a way that ensures maximizing benefit and achieving the desired impact.
It was also decided to form a fact-finding committee, which will examine and study all the facts, issues and complaints being circulated, within a framework of complete impartiality and accuracy, in order to determine the facts and take the necessary measures in accordance with the laws and regulations. We also note that if there is a private or confidential complaint that requires presenting it to the Minister, it will be delivered in a sealed envelope to the Minister’s Technical Office.
In this context, the Ministry emphasized working to implement an integrated policy to protect against all forms of harm or uncontrolled practices, in addition to developing effective and safe mechanisms for reporting, receiving and examining complaints, ensuring the confidentiality of data, protecting whistleblowers, and promoting a work environment based on trust and mutual respect.
The Ministry affirmed its continued support and empowerment of youth, with full commitment to applying the highest standards of integrity and accountability, in order to achieve the public good and enhance confidence in various youth entities and activities.
