He met with the Minister of Youth and Sports, Noble essenceAt the Ministry’s headquarters, Hadya Hosni, President of the Egyptian Badminton Federation, accompanied by members of the Federation’s Board of Directors, is within the framework of the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ plan to follow up on sports federations and develop the sports work system during the next stage.
During the meeting, the Federation’s Board of Directors reviewed the most prominent implementations during the past period in terms of developing the game, expanding the base of practice, and organizing local and international tournaments, in addition to the efforts made to prepare and qualify players at various age levels, which contributes to enhancing the game’s presence at the continental and international levels.
The Minister of Youth and Sports also followed up on the federation’s plan during the coming period, foremost of which is preparing to host the World Junior Badminton Championship, scheduled to be held in Egypt next October, where the organizational and technical aspects of the tournament were reviewed, and the ongoing coordination with the International Badminton Federation to ensure that the event emerges in an image that reflects Egypt’s status and its ability to organize major international tournaments.
The Minister of Youth and Sports affirmed the ministry’s keenness to provide various aspects of support to sports federations, which contributes to developing various games, expanding the base of sports practice, and preparing champions capable of representing Egypt in international forums and achieving distinguished results.
