This comes in light of the decisions and results of the surprise inspection tour of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Gohar Nabil, to a number of youth centers in Cairo and Giza governorates, and within the framework of the ministry’s direction towards consolidating standards of discipline and governance within youth centers.
Minister Ghada Ahmed Mamdouh honored the Executive Director of the Ain Al-Sira Youth Center, in appreciation of the distinguished administrative discipline and good management of the centre, in addition to maintaining its general condition and continuous work to develop its facilities, which reflects a positive model of institutional performance that the Ministry aims to disseminate, and stressing that reward and appreciation is the product of team work and includes all elements of the center’s work team who contributed to achieving this distinguished performance.
Johar Nabil stressed that the current stage is witnessing a clear and strict application of the principle of reward and punishment, as it is one of the basic foundations for reforming the work system within youth centers, stressing the lack of tolerance in holding accountable any shortcomings, in parallel with supporting and motivating successful models, in a way that establishes a culture of excellence and discipline and motivates all employees to adhere to the highest standards of performance.
The Minister added that honoring the distinguished is no less important than punishing the violators, stressing that the field tours will continue intensively during the coming period, within the framework of a comprehensive plan to restructure the work and restore the sports identity of the youth centers, in a way that ensures the provision of distinguished services to youth and youth, meets the aspirations of citizens, and improves the quality of facilities and services at the republic level.
