Muhammad Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, issued a number of decisive instructions aimed at achieving the student’s interest and enhancing the educational environment. The Minister stressed the importance of students’ regular attendance at schools, stressing the activation of grades for the year’s work and linking them to the percentage of attendance and absence, in a way that achieves discipline and directly benefits the level of student achievement. He also directed the importance of paying attention to teaching religious education.

The Minister also stressed the need to commit to teaching national identity subjects (Arabic language, religious education, and social studies) in international schools, with an emphasis on conducting correction work with the utmost transparency and accuracy, ensuring that every student obtains his full right.

The Minister also stressed that no exemptions from studying the Arabic language may be granted except through a specialized committee formed in the Ministry, in accordance with specific controls and procedures that guarantee the achievement of justice and equal opportunities.

With regard to school administration, the Minister stressed that the school principal is the leader and the primary responsible for achieving discipline, directing the necessity of continuous field follow-up of education leaders, reviewing grade books, and attending classes, in order to ensure the smooth conduct of the educational process within the classroom.

The Minister also directed the need for students to adhere to school uniforms and pay attention to their general appearance, while implementing behavioral controls strictly, stressing that any violation of public appearance is unacceptable, and will be dealt with in accordance with the school motivation and discipline regulations, in a way that consolidates the values ​​of commitment and discipline within the school community, indicating that these measures come within the framework of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to achieve a disciplined and stimulating educational environment that supports the quality of education and puts the student’s interest first.
