Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister, said Solidarity Socially, Egypt is full of millions of mothers sacrificing for the sake of their children.
In her speech at the celebration honoring exemplary mothers for the year 2026, the Minister of Social Solidarity sent a message to the husbands of exemplary mothers who won the 2026 competition, saying: This great lady was the captain of this journey… I think the least that should be said is thank you to the strong wife, without whom your children would not have reached this stage.
Ideal mother competition
Earlier, the Minister of Social Solidarity explained that approximately 598 women nationwide applied to participate in the Ideal Mother Competition for the year 2026, including 499 applicants who met the conditions.
Maya Morsi indicated that there were 416 natural mothers who met the conditions for the Ideal Mother Competition, 25 applicants for a surrogate mother, and 58 applicants for a mother of a son with a disability, while 99 women who did not meet the conditions were excluded.
