Details of the first nursing forum
This came during the activities of the First Nursing Forum, which was organized by the Nursing Department of the Directorate of Health Affairs in Alexandria, in the presence of nursing leaders in the Directorate, hospitals, and medical regions.
Badran pointed out that the competition reflects the level of real performance on the ground, which contributes to the development of medical services provided to citizens.
During the forum, the launch of the Alexandria Nursing Challenge 2026 was announced, which aims to enhance professional excellence among nursing teams in Alexandria hospitals and medical regions.
For her part, Miss Afaf Muhammad, Director of the Nursing Department, stressed that organizing this forum comes out of belief in the importance of the nursing profession and its pivotal role in the health system.
Muhammad explained that the competition aims to exchange experiences between nursing teams and highlight the efforts made on the ground, stressing that nursing represents one of the basic pillars in providing health services, and that all efforts made deserve appreciation and highlighting.
During the event, a public lottery was held to determine the confrontations between the hospitals and medical regions participating in the competition, in preparation for the start of the stages of competition between the nursing teams, in a way that enhances the spirit of positive competition and highlights distinguished competencies in the field of nursing.
The event also included a presentation on the nursing administration’s achievements during the year 2025, which reviewed the most prominent efforts and activities that were implemented to develop the nursing system and raise the efficiency of nursing staff in various health facilities in the governorate.
