Kamal Darwish, former president of Zamalek Club, believes that the club’s land on 6 October and its withdrawal are behind the crises that the White Castle is currently suffering from.
Kamal Darwish: October Land is the real outlet for Zamalek…and Shikabala is not administratively fit to talk about white
Darwish said in radio statements: The October Land is the foundation of the Zamalek Club, and Al-Abyad officials took the legitimate steps to work on the October Land and this project must be completed, as the land was withdrawn without any logical justifications despite the start of work on the club’s land.
He continued: Even if there is an alternative land, there is no crisis, but there must be an alternative land, and an investment company must be established for the Zamalek Club to support the club.
He continued: If this negative situation continues, Zamalek will die, and help must be provided instead of hearsay. Where is the alternative land for Zamalek Club?
He added: The issue has not become the issue of the Board of Directors, but rather it has become the right of every Zamalek, and the Board of Directors will not be able to solve this matter alone and find solutions.
He concluded his statements by saying: Shikabala does not have the ability to think about managing institutions. Shikabala is a legend and a football player, but he does not have any administrative or economic experience in major clubs like Zamalek.
