Mahmoud Al-Anani, President of the Poultry Producers Union, revealed that the sector Poultry In Egypt, it has suffered major losses over the past months due to the increase in production volume in exchange for lower prices.

Al-Anani explained in statements to Cairo 24 that these losses continued for about six months, but producers have now begun to cover the cost of production and have achieved a reasonable profit margin from selling poultry.
The head of the Poultry Producers Union confirmed that the market is currently witnessing stability in the prices of poultry and eggs, noting that expectations indicate continued price stability during the next month of Ramadan in light of the balance of production with the volume of demand in the market.
In another context, the prices of white chickens stabilized today, Sunday, February 1, 2026, with the continued balance of supply and demand in the markets, in conjunction with the stability of the prices of chicks and eggs, while the final prices for the consumer vary according to the areas of sale, transportation costs, and merchants’ profit margins.
