The company’s general manager, Adnan Al-Abadla, also indicated that the company has reached the strongest position in its history, achieving the highest financial and operational indicators since its founding in 1985. It has become an icon of successful joint Arab action and a basic pillar that supports the economies of the founding countries through the movement of trade, goods, travelers, and tourist groups between them and the rest of the countries of the region and the world. The unprecedented historical achievements, numbers, and results that have been achieved came to reflect the development, progress, and prosperity the company has reached today in terms of development, progress, and prosperity in its business.
Profits amounting to $32 million within a year
Al-Abadla added that the company was able during the year 2025 to surpass the previous historical results achieved in 2024, the most prominent of which was achieving profits amounting to (30) million dollars, as the company achieved in 2025 annual profits amounting to 32 million dollars, which is the highest profits achieved by the company since its founding. The company’s assets also reached at the end of the year 2025 their highest value since the company’s founding and amounted to (229) million dollars, and the same applies with regard to property rights, which amounted to ($182.3) million, which is also its highest value since the company’s founding, exceeding all numbers and results achieved in 2024.
He pointed out that the journey of unique and distinguished achievements did not stop at these numbers only, as after the decline in passenger rates on the company’s ships during the past years as a result of the difficult and complex events and circumstances that the world witnessed with successive crises that directly affected various sectors, the company was keen to restore travelers’ confidence in traveling by sea by raising the level and quality of services provided to passengers on board its sea fleet, and by providing integrated transport services in cooperation with land transport companies in both Jordan and Egypt, in addition to offering promotional offers during the different seasons. Developing the company’s electronic reservation systems.
He explained that the company transported (317) thousand passengers during the year 2025 on board its marine fleet, an increase of (26%) compared to the number of passengers transported during the year 2024, which amounted to (251) thousand passengers, noting that the last time the number of passengers reached this number was in 2016.
Regarding the trade exchange movement via the Nuweiba-Aqaba sea line, Al-Abadla stated that the annual truck transport rate via the Nuweiba-Aqaba sea line during the last fifteen years amounted to (45) thousand trucks annually, but during the year 2024 the company was able to transport (78,976) trucks, which is the largest number of trucks transported since the company was established at that time, and in 2025 the company’s ships transported (79,198) trucks, thus exceeding the number of trucks transported during the year. 2024, setting a new historical record for the largest number of trucks transported annually since the company was founded.
