Engineer Iman Ahmed Abbas visited the head of the Central district In Alexandria On the ground, Al-Zohour Street in Al-Hadra Al-Jadidah, to follow up on the fixed concentration in the street and remove existing occupancies, with the participation of Mohamed Ahmed Helmy, the district’s general secretary, and all concerned departments.
Details of the Central District campaign in Alexandria
The campaign resulted in the removal of all encroachments and the occupancy of street vendors, which took over the sidewalks and pedestrian paths, and the expansion of the street and an opening for pedestrians and traffic.
In addition to following up on fixed and mobile concentrations on the street and talking with market sellers and shop owners, to adhere to the limits, and not to encroach on the right of way, to direct traffic and cars, and eliminate manifestations of randomness.
The Central District stressed the continuation of daily follow-up and monitoring of any new violations, and the strict application of the law without exception to ensure that occupancy and violations do not return again.
This came within the framework of the directives and assignments issued by Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Alexandria, to continue field follow-up, to ensure the discipline of markets, and to remove all occupancy of cafes and shops and the encroachments of street vendors.
