Major General Engineer Hani Rashad, Governor of Suez, stressed the necessity of full compliance with the decision to close stores at exactly nine o’clock in the evening, starting tomorrow, Saturday.

The Governor of Suez said in press statements that deterrent legal measures will be applied with complete decisiveness against violators, without any leniency or exception, in implementation of the decision of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly regarding regulating the closing times of public stores, with the exception of pharmacies, supermarkets, grocery stores, bakeries, and fruit and vegetable stores.

The Governor of Suez said that all establishments will be visited periodically on his part, as well as Dr. Mohamed Allam, Deputy Governor, and Major General Arif El-Barkawi, Assistant Secretary-General of the Governorate, along with district heads and representatives of the relevant authorities from the Departments of Public Store Licensing and Supply and the Food Safety Authority, to follow up on the extent of compliance with the decision and to confirm the achievement of discipline on Suez Street.

The governor directed the need to alert citizens and shop owners of the date of implementation of the decision, stressing that the governorate’s agencies will not be lax in enforcing the law on violators, in a way that ensures the achievement of public discipline.
