Ayman Attia, Governor QalyubiaThe progress of the massive campaign launched by the West Shubra El Kheima neighborhood to remove occupancy and encroachments on Nasser Street, as part of the governorate’s ongoing efforts to improve the general appearance and achieve the required traffic flow in the main and vital streets, and provide a safe and controlled environment for citizens.

​Dr. Salwa Abu Al-Enein, Head of the West Shubra Al-Kheima District, in coordination with Brigadier General Mahmoud Faisal, Director of the Utilities Police in Qalyubia, and with the participation of Mr. Yasser Ibrahim, Deputy Head of the District and the executive agencies, led a massive campaign aimed at removing all obstacles that distort the civilized appearance of the street and hinder the movement of pedestrians and vehicles.

​The campaign resulted in the removal of all illegal encroachments, including illegal constructions and unlicensed tents, as well as removing the occupancy of shops that extended to the sidewalks and the river of the public road, which contributed to restoring the width of the street and facilitating traffic significantly for citizens.

The governor stressed that these campaigns come in implementation of the state’s plan to impose legal prestige and prevent randomness, stressing the continuation of periodic follow-up to ensure that occupancy does not return again, while moving forward in developing the level of services provided to the people of Shubra Al-Kheima in a way that guarantees them a healthy and civilized environment.
