Engineer Abdel Muttalib Amara, Governor of Luxor, performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer rituals in Sidi Abu al-Hajjaj Square in the city of Luxor, in the presence of thousands of citizens from the governorate who came to perform the prayer.
Wide official participation
The Eid prayer witnessed an official presence, as a number of executive and security leaders participated alongside the governor, led by Dr. Hisham Abu Zeid, Deputy Governor of Luxor, and Major General Mohamed El-Sawy, Assistant Minister of the Interior and Director of Luxor Security.




Major General Abdullah Ashour, Secretary General of the Governorate, and Brigadier General Amr Malek, Military Advisor, were also present, along with Major General Engineer Ahmed Arafa, Head of the Water and Sanitation Company, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mallah, Director of the Health Care Authority Branch, and a number of undersecretaries and leaders of the Security Directorate.
Inspect services and exchange congratulations
After completing the rituals, the Governor of Luxor was keen to exchange congratulations with the worshipers. The governor conducted an inspection tour around the prayer square to monitor the general situation, ensure the smooth flow of movement, and provide the necessary services for the comfort of citizens during their celebration of Eid.




Emphasis on continued development
Engineer Abdul Muttalib Amara affirmed the governorate’s commitment to moving forward in implementing comprehensive development plans and improving the quality of basic services.
The governor pointed out the importance of popular solidarity and cohesion with the political leadership, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to support the stability of the construction process in light of the current regional challenges.
This participation comes within the periodic activities of the Luxor Governor to communicate with citizens, as the Eid al-Fitr prayer in Abu El Haggag Square represents a prominent annual ritual in Luxor Governorate, during which Engineer Abdel Muttalib Amara is keen to follow up on the progress of services in the field and ensure the comfort of the people.
