Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansari, Governor of Giza, directed the heads of districts, centers, cities, and concerned authorities to raise the level of preparedness and take all necessary precautionary measures to confront the potential effects of the expected weather condition.
This comes in light of Meteorological Authority reports indicating a state of weather instability and weather fluctuations tomorrow, Wednesday.
The Governor of Giza stressed the necessity of raising the level of readiness in all operating rooms and crisis departments in the governorate and coordinating with the Emergency and Public Safety Control Center, with an emphasis on reviewing the readiness of equipment to deal immediately with any developments.
The governor also directed the necessity of full coordination with drinking water, electricity and sanitation companies. To ensure a quick response to any reports or malfunctions that may result from bad weather conditions, and to work to remove any obstacles before the wave of fluctuations begins.
The governor stressed the importance of monitoring lighting poles, banners, and billboards that may be affected by strong winds, while taking the necessary measures to secure them in order to preserve the safety of citizens.
