Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Muti, Governor of Gharbia, was keen to share the joy of Eid al-Fitr with orphans and the elderly, through a field tour that included a number of care homes in the city of Tanta, to bring joy and happiness to their hearts on the first day of Eid.

The tour included a visit to the Tasnim Orphanage, which includes 8 children, and the Khair Baladna Home for homeless children, which includes 12 children, in addition to the Social Welfare Home for homeless adults, which includes 24 elderly people. During the visit, the governor was keen to spend time with them, listen to them, and share with them the atmosphere of the celebration.

During the visit, the Governor of Gharbia congratulated the orphans and the elderly on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, stressing that the state pays great attention to the groups most in need of care, and is working to provide all means of support and health and social care for them, ensuring a decent and safe life within care homes.

The Governor of Gharbia stressed that bringing joy to the hearts of orphans and the elderly is a humanitarian duty before it is an executive responsibility, indicating that the governorate will spare no effort in improving the level of services provided to them and meeting their needs on an ongoing basis.

At the end of the tour, the Governor of Gharbia distributed Eid cakes, chocolates, flowers, and toys as a symbolic gift carrying congratulations from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, which contributed to putting a smile on their faces and creating an atmosphere of joy and happiness.
