Engineer Amr Lashin, Governor of Aswan, continued his morning field tours by inspecting the visual identity artwork being placed in some squares as part of the project to develop, expand and beautify Sadat Road.

The Governor of Aswan confirmed that the signs of commercial stores in the city of Aswan will be unified, starting from Sadat Road and the Corniche, and the rest of the areas in succession, pointing to the completion of putting the aesthetic touches on the Sadat Development Project, which was implemented in accordance with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to be a distinct civilized interface for the people of Aswan and the tourist groups visiting the bride of Al-Mashati, and to highlight Aswan in an appropriate way that reflects its historical and cultural status.

The governor pointed out that these artistic works, which will be implemented in a number of main squares and streets in the city of Aswan, come within the framework of an integrated plan aimed at improving the visual image, enhancing cultural identity, and creating a civilized environment worthy of the historical and tourist status of the governorate.

Engineer Amr Lashin explained that the visual identity project is one of the main axes within the development plan, as it aims to unify the aesthetic appearance of vital areas, and highlight the architectural and heritage character of the governorate, which contributes to creating an integrated visual environment that enhances visitors’ impressions and achieves citizens’ satisfaction.

Amr Lashin added that the implementation of the artistic works is being carried out in a phased and thoughtful manner within a number of main squares and streets, taking into account achieving harmony between the various design elements and using high-quality materials that ensure sustainability and continuity. He pointed out that the project is not limited to beautification works only, but extends to include improving the efficiency of the infrastructure and expanding traffic axes in a way that contributes to achieving traffic fluidity.

He added that there is continuous field follow-up to ensure that all details are implemented according to the highest quality standards, and in line with the state’s vision towards developing tourist cities and improving their mental image, explaining that these efforts come within an integrated vision to transform Aswan into an advanced model of sustainable tourist cities by combining urban development and preserving cultural and heritage identity, in a way that achieves tangible economic and tourism returns for the governorate.
