The family of Dr. Hassan Helmy Attia, the former head of the Veterinarians Syndicate in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, announced his death today, Sunday, amid a state of sadness in the veterinary community in the governorate.

The family confirmed that the funeral ceremony will take place after the noon prayer at Al-Rahma Mosque, west of the city of Kafr El-Sheikh, noting that the funeral will be limited to the funeral of the body, out of concern for the family’s privacy.

The Veterinarians Syndicate in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate mourned its loss, stressing that Dr. Hassan Helmy Attia was a prominent figure and contributed greatly to the development of veterinary work in the governorate, and he also supported his fellow veterinarians during his leadership of the Syndicate.

A number of sub-unions and colleagues from various veterinary sectors also mourned the deceased, praising his professional contributions and his distinguished humanitarian relations with all members.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Hassan Helmy Attia played an important role in enhancing cooperation between the union and various government agencies. He also contributed to organizing many training and awareness programs that aimed to raise the level of veterinary service in Kafr El-Sheikh.
