The Ministry of the Interior revealed the circumstances of a video clip circulated on social media showing a person performing a show while carrying a firearm in Dakahlia, and the perpetrator of the incident was arrested.

The Ministry of Interior said: In the context of uncovering the circumstances of a video clip that was circulated on social media sites, in which a person was shown performing a demonstration while carrying a firearm in Dakahlia, through examination, it was possible to identify and arrest the perpetrator of the incident, a worker with criminal information, residing in the Al-Manzala Police Department. Upon confronting him, he admitted that the weapon shown in the video clip was a skeleton made of plastic that he had purchased from a children’s toy store, and that he had filmed that aforementioned clip and published it on social media sites as a joke and to achieve high viewing rates.
Legal measures were taken.
