The security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a post supported by a video clip circulated on social media sites that included a person assaulting a stray dog in Cairo.
Upon examination, it was revealed that no reports had been received in this regard, and it was possible to identify and arrest the person shown in the video clip, a driver – a resident of the Basateen Police Department. When confronted, he confessed to assaulting the dog due to its barking and attacking it. Legal measures were taken, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
