Engineer Nader Zaafar, head of the development agency, announced 6th of October CityA specialized field occupancy force was launched to work in the eastern sector of the city, as part of the agency’s plan to strengthen field oversight and deal immediately with encroachments and occupancy, as part of the efforts of the new city agencies to restore discipline to the streets and squares.

The head of the agency explained that the new force was equipped with the necessary equipment and allocated to work permanently within the eastern sector, with the aim of quickly responding to reports of road occupancy and encroachments, in addition to a continuous presence in the streets and vital axes to prevent the return of street vendors or commercial occupancy after their removal.
Engineer Nader Zaafar confirmed that this step comes within the framework of the city authority’s keenness to strictly implement regulations and laws, and to confront any violations that would impede the movement of pedestrians or cars, ensuring the preservation of the civilized appearance of 6th of October City and achieving discipline in the streets.
He pointed out that the force is working in full coordination with the facilities police, the agency’s security, and the various neighborhoods, to ensure the implementation of effective and continuous campaigns to deal with all types of occupancy and encroachments.
For his part, Engineer Radhi Khalil, Vice President of the Agency, explained that allocating an independent occupancy force to the eastern sector comes in response to the increasing urban and commercial growth witnessed by the region, which requires a permanent field presence to monitor any random phenomena and deal with them immediately.
The deputy head of the agency confirmed the continuation of field campaigns in various sectors of the city, to maintain public discipline and provide a civilized and safe environment for the residents of 6th of October City.
