The Ministry of Transport, represented by the National Tunnels Authority, will begin implementing the official operating dates as of tomorrow, Tuesday Subway trains On the three lines, following the end of the exceptional working hours that were implemented during the month of Ramadan and the Eid al-Fitr holiday, which ends at the end of today, Monday.
The Ministry explained that the first flights on the first and second lines (Helwan – New Marj / Shubra Al-Kheima – Al-Munib) depart at 5:15 am from the final stations in both directions. The first train on the third line will also start operating from Adly Mansour Station towards Cairo University, as well as in the reverse direction, at the same time.
Given the importance of this vital facility within mass transportation, we present to you in the following lines the timings of metro trains on the three lines, which are as follows:
First: The first and second lines of the metro
- The start of operating hours for the first metro line from (Helwan – New Marj) stations is at 5:15 am.
- The last train departs from Helwan station at 11:40 am and from New Marj station at 11:40 am.
- The start of operating hours for the second metro line from (Shubra El Kheima – El Moneib) stations is at 5:15 am.
- The last train departs from Shubra El Kheima station at 11:55 pm, and the last train departs from Al-Munib station at 12:05 am.
- The last trains to connect and exchange between the first and second lines of the metro meet at Anwar Sadat Station at 12:25 am.
- The last trains to connect and exchange between the first and third lines of the metro meet at Gamal Abdel Nasser Station at 12:00 am.
- The last trains to connect and exchange between the second and third lines of the metro meet at Ataba station at 12:00 am.
- The last train leaves Cairo University Station on the third metro line at 11:45 pm.
Second: The third metro line
- The first train departs from Adly Mansour towards Cairo University at 5:15 am.
- The first train departs from Adly Mansour towards Rod Al-Farag at 5:20 am.
- The first train departs from Rawd Al-Farag towards Adly Mansour at 5:15 am.
- The first train departs from Cairo University towards Adly Mansour at 5:15 am.
- The last train departs from Adly Mansour towards Rod Al-Farag at 11:29 pm.
- The last train departs from Adly Mansour towards Cairo University at 11:33 pm.
- The last train departs from Cairo University towards Adly Mansour at 11:52 pm.
- The last train departs from Rawd Al-Farag towards Adly Mansour at 11:55 pm.
- The connection with the first line ends at Nasser Station, towards Cairo University, at 00:20 AM, and towards Rod Al-Farag at 00:20. 00:15 am.
- The connection with the second line ends at Ataba station, towards Cairo University, at 00:15 AM, and towards Rod Al-Farag at 00:10 AM.
