The Ministry of Education and Technical Education confirmed that the essay questions in the general secondary exams will represent approximately 15% of the grade of each subject, in the general secondary school in the basic academic subjects, stressing that the goal is to measure the learning outcomes with short and comprehensive answers from the students, with the student obtaining grades for all the steps of solving these questions as long as they are correct and related to the required meaning.
The Ministry of Education explained that the correction of essay questions will be electronic with the same specifications as the previous year, explaining that the presence of essay questions in the assessment is important as it gives the student space to access and produce answers after thinking and understanding, as essay questions are considered a production of knowledge and answers.
