Forecasts from the Egyptian Meteorological Authority indicate that the weather today, Monday, March 30, 2026, in South Sinai Governorate, is witnessing a state of mild weather fluctuations, with a slight rise in temperatures during the day and a noticeable coolness at night, especially in the mountainous areas.

Today’s weather highlights
Meteorology indicated that cold weather prevails in the early morning, turning to warm and hot during the day in most areas, and cold weather at night, reaching very cold in St. Catherine, in addition to the chances of light rain falling in various areas of South Sinai, and active winds that stir up sand and dust at times, which may affect horizontal visibility.

For its part, the Meteorological Authority explained that today, Monday, witnesses a slight rise in temperatures in most areas, and cold weather prevails in the early morning, warm to hot in most areas during the day and cool at night, and light rain is imposed on areas of the governorates of northern and central Upper Egypt, the Western Desert, the northern Red Sea Governorate, and South Sinai, with an incidence rate of approximately 20% that may extend to areas of Greater Cairo at intermittent intervals.

The Meteorological Authority notes that, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31, until Thursday, April 2, the country will witness chances of heavy rain of varying intensity in the north of the country, and active winds, ranging in speed from 40-50 km/h, causing sand and dust and leading to reduced horizontal visibility in some areas.
