The delegation of the first Egyptian national football team left Spanish territory late on Wednesday evening, heading to Cairo, arriving in the early hours of Thursday morning, after the conclusion of the external camp that was held as part of the plan to prepare for the 2026 World Cup competitions.
The return came after an intense preparation period during which the technical staff was keen to achieve the maximum possible benefit on the technical and physical levels.
The Egyptian national team concluded its friendly matches during the camp with a strong confrontation against its Spanish counterpart, which ended in a goalless draw, in the match that was held at the “RCDE” stadium in Barcelona on Tuesday evening. The match witnessed a balanced performance by the two teams, as each party sought to test its readiness before the official matches, in a confrontation characterized by seriousness and tactical discipline.
A successful camp and important artistic experiences
The team’s technical staff confirmed that the camp achieved many gains, especially in light of the interaction with different football schools, which contributes to raising the level of players and increasing their international experience.
