Today, Thursday, the New Cairo Misdemeanor Court of Appeals will hear the appeal of the businessman accused BAssaulting a security personnel at the gathering Fifth, he was sentenced to one year in prison.

The Public Prosecution received a report that a security personnel in one of the residential complexes was harmed by the owner of one of the residential units insulting and beating him while he was carrying out his work duties, and destroying the wireless communication device he was in charge of, which resulted in his injury.

The Public Prosecution began investigations and heard the statements of the victim, who decided that, as a result of previous disputes related to the nature of his work, the accused assaulted and beat him, causing his injuries, represented by abrasions and bruises to the right shoulder, the front of the head, and below the right eye, as confirmed in the medical report. A number of security personnel and witnesses to the incident also supported his statements.

Upon interrogation of the accused, he admitted that he had committed the incident as a result of previous disputes between him and the victim, so the Public Prosecution charged him with displaying force, threatening violence, beating, and destruction.

Accordingly, the Public Prosecution ordered the defendant to be detained pending investigations, requested the victim’s final medical report, and assigned an officer to move to the scene of the incident to conduct the necessary inspection and inventory the damage.
