Cairo University used artificial intelligence techniques to produce a documentary film that embodies the founding journey of the university, which was known in its beginnings as the “Egyptian National University,” in a step that combines history and modern technology to revive the memory of national education.
Cairo University uses artificial intelligence to embody the message of Princess Fatima Ismail in building the university
This came during the activities of the national initiative to support distinguished students in Egyptian universities, “Future Scholars Scholarship,” under the patronage of Mrs. Intisar El-Sisi, wife of the President of the Republic.
The film, made with artificial intelligence techniques, explained the pioneering national role of Princess Fatima Ismail in supporting the establishment of the university, by displaying her inspiring message and historical contributions, as she donated the lands on which the university was established, and then continued her support by allocating revenue-bearing lands for the benefit of the university, before her donations culminated in giving away her jewelry to support the completion of the educational project.
The film highlights how Princess Fatima Ismail’s sacrifices contributed to laying the foundation stone for the first modern Egyptian university, stressing that education was and remains an essential pillar for building the Egyptian state. Cairo University’s use of artificial intelligence also reflects its keenness to present history in innovative ways that keep pace with the developments of the times, and address new generations in the language of technology.
