The sons of the late popular singer Shaaban Abdel Rahim took legal measures against a number of people because they were harmed because they launched campaigns against them with the aim of blackmailing them, insulting them, denigrating their father’s name, and exploiting his fame to increase viewership rates and achieve financial profits.

During the past few days, the children of popular singer Shaaban Abdel Rahim were subjected to campaigns by a number of people, who launched campaigns against them with the aim of blackmailing them, abusing them, and exploiting their father’s fame to increase viewership rates and achieve financial profits.
Earlier, legal advisor Yasser Kantoush, the lawyer for the family of the artist Abdel Halim Hafez, confirmed that the family intends to take legal measures against one of the people who claims to be the White Nightingale, stressing that these allegations represent a direct insult to the name and history of the great artist.
Yasser Kantoush explained in his statements to Cairo 24 that this person deliberately distorts the image of the late artist and exploits his name and artistic history without any legal basis, noting that the family categorically refuses to use the name or image of Abdel Halim Hafez in any way without referring to it.
He added that the family of the late artist calls on journalists and media professionals not to host this person in any programs or media meetings, and not to link him to the great artist, warning that the continuation of these practices will be met with decisive legal measures.
