The Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Menoufia continued its efforts in launching control campaigns to visit food and industrial establishments, ensure the suitability of goods and products and their compliance with health and environmental requirements, and take legal measures regarding any violations that are monitored.
The campaign was able to target an illegal industrial facility in Sadat and seize more than 12 tons of spoiled pickles, unfit for human consumption, and nearly 20,000 packages ready for packaging. The necessary legal measures were taken and presented to the Public Prosecution to carry out its affairs.
For his part, the Governor of Menoufia stressed the continued intensification of strict field supervision, directing strong strikes at outlaws and those who traffic in the health of citizens, combating corruption, immediate interaction with any report of commercial fraud, and immediate response speed in order to achieve the public interest.
