The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced Saudi ArabiaThe last date for Umrah visa holders to depart is the first of Dhul-Qi’dah 1447, which corresponds to April 18, 2026 AD.

The Saudi newspaper Okaz published that this came in response to questions from a number of pilgrims through the official platform of the Ministry.

Saudi Arabia emphasizes that those coming from outside the Kingdom to perform Umrah must not delay their departure

The concerned authorities in Saudi Arabia have stressed that those coming from outside the Kingdom to perform Umrah rituals should not delay their departure after the expiry of the visa period granted to them, so that imprisonment and fine penalties are not applied to them, and they must strictly adhere to the departure time to return to their homelands.

The Ministry of the Interior in Saudi Arabia stressed the importance of the role of citizens and residents in not transporting, employing, or sheltering Umrah pilgrims who are late to leave, covering up for them, or providing any means of assistance to them that would lead to their remaining in the Kingdom, and warned that whoever commits these violations will be subject to penalties of fine, imprisonment, and deportation.

The competent authorities urged companies and institutions that serve Umrah pilgrims to quickly report any Umrah pilgrim’s delay in leaving after the end of the specified period of their stay, and whoever is late in reporting will be subject to a fine.
