The “Sabah El Balad” program, broadcast on Sada El Balad channel, reviewed an important article by the writer Journalist Elham Abu Al-Fathmanaging editor of Al-Akhbar newspaper and head of the “Sada El-Balad” network of channels and websites, under the title “Minister Randa El-Minshawy” and stated as follows:

Happy new year on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, may God bring it back to us all with goodness and reassurance.

In these blessed days and with the new ministerial change, I say from my heart congratulations to engineer Randa El-Minshawy for assuming the housing portfolio. For the first time in the history of Egypt, a woman holds this difficult and important position.

I am very happy that a woman was chosen for this position because women have always proven that they bear responsibility and I am sure that their imprints will be strong and they started the movement of changes and amendments immediately with the start of the month of Ramadan and they have a complete vision for the speed of implementing national projects and facilitating the procedures for responding to the seriousness of the seizure for citizens. Its most important priorities are preserving the civilized appearance of new cities, providing high-quality social housing, focusing on listening to people’s complaints electronically and providing high-quality services.

The position is important and difficult because its specializations are many and it interferes in the lives of citizens and government programs, but I think that Randa is the best choice because I have known her closely for many years. She is serious, strong, clear, not afraid of confrontation, and knows what she wants.

She is “shared” in the true sense of the word. She works a lot, reviews a lot, and does not settle for half a solution. She has a strong, influential personality. She knows the files from their roots, because she lived for many years within the ministry, and because she is a partner who rose and rose through the ranks through her effort and dedication to her work until she reached the top. She built the ministry and knows about it every big and small thing that she has been appointed to since graduating from the university. She has supervised major national projects and proven her competence and excellence.

I received a certificate from one of the best housing ministers in Egypt, Engineer Mohamed Ibrahim Suleiman, and he assured me that she was the best minister after him.

I am proud that an Egyptian woman has reached this difficult position and proven that competence is the most important, and I personally trust that she is capable of fixing what needs to be fixed and developing the housing system in a new spirit.

My best wishes to my dear and friendly Minister Randa Al-Minshawi. I am sure that she will have her mark on the ground.
