Russia is providing Iran with information on targets to attack US forces in the Middle East, three officials familiar with intelligence said, the first indication that another major US adversary is participating, even indirectly, in the war.

According to the Washington Post, officials added that the targeting information provided included the locations of American warships and aircraft in the Middle East.
In a related context, a building located next to the headquarters of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet in the Juffair area of Bahrain was damaged as a result of an Iranian drone attack over the weekend.
The report stated that this information came according to three officials familiar with intelligence assessments related to current developments in the region.
