The activities of the first day of the 2025 House of Representatives elections began in three electoral districts in Beheira Governorate, amid an atmosphere of discipline and full security for all electoral committees.
Beheira Governor: Regular opening of committees for the House of Representatives elections on their first day
Dr. Jacqueline Azar, Governor of Beheira, confirmed the regular opening of all electoral committees on time, and the arrival of advisors and committee members without any obstacles, marking the start of the voting process and receiving voters.
This came during the Governor of Beheira’s follow-up of the progress of the electoral process from the control room in the governorate’s general office, in the presence of executive leaders and representatives of all concerned and security authorities.
There is real-time communication with the heads of centers and cities through video conference technology to follow up on the progress of work within the general and sub-committees, and full coordination with the Security Directorate to secure electoral headquarters and facilitate the entry and exit of voters.
The elections are held in three constituencies, including the first district: (Damanhour District – Damanhour Center), the third district also includes (Abu Homs Center – Idku Center), and the eighth district includes: (Shubrakhit Center – Itay Al-Baroud Center).
The number of electoral centers is 264, including 297 electoral committees, and the total number of voters in these districts reaches one million, 726 thousand and 88 male and female voters.
Dr. Jacqueline Azer calls on the people of Beheira to participate positively, cast their votes, and exercise their constitutional right to choose their representatives, stressing that the governorate stands at the same distance from all candidates, with a full commitment to neutrality and transparency, and to overcoming any obstacles to ensure that the electoral process proceeds properly.
