The incident occurred when the security services of the Alexandria Security Directorate received a notification from the warden of the Karmouz Police Department stating that a report had been received from Sidin that 4 bodies had been found inside the salt pans and that measures had been taken.

Immediately, the security services, accompanied by ambulances, moved to the site of the report, imposed a security cordon around the place, and took the necessary legal measures.

Investigations revealed that the accused is from Minya Governorate and had killed his wife a year ago, and that she is from Sharkia Governorate. The accused dug a hole to bury her while she was alive, but his older brother took her out and they reconciled. After some time had passed, the accused took his wife and went out in a recess, and she was the last when he pushed her into a flooded place in the Nile River. He left for a while in Damietta Governorate, then settled in Alexandria Governorate and worked in selling beans.

Investigations indicated that there had been previous disputes with his older brother and his brother’s son because of his brother’s wife, and he was identified by what the research team found and determined his identity.

The criminal investigation team was able to solve the mystery of the case and discover that the accused of killing the 4 brothers was the father. After codifying the procedures, he was able to be arrested, a report was written on the incident, and the investigating authorities were notified to begin their investigations into the incident.
