Engineer Mohamed Ibrahim Fouda, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of the Qalyubia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, announced that the level of readiness in all sectors of the company has been raised, coinciding with the approaching advent of… Eid al-Fitr Al-Mubarak, in order to ensure the sustainability of drinking water and sanitation services during the days of Eid.
Fouda confirmed that the company had taken a package of intensive measures and preparations, which included forming main and subsidiary operating rooms around the clock 24 hours a day to follow up on the situation and deal immediately with any complaints or emergencies, in addition to sending additional suction and sweeping vehicles and stationing them in vital areas with high population densities.
He pointed out that the degree of readiness of all drinking water and sanitation stations had been raised, and the availability of supplies and spare parts had been ensured, while periodic maintenance work had been intensified, and water and sewage networks had been reviewed to ensure continuity of service without interruption during the Eid period.
The company’s president added that emphasis has been placed on the laboratories sector by intensifying the collection of samples from various stations and networks to ensure the quality of the water provided to citizens, in accordance with health specifications.
Fouda explained that the company receives citizen complaints on the hotline 125/01200288880 around the clock, stressing the speed of response and immediate handling of reports, ensuring the comfort of citizens during Eid Al-Fitr.
He concluded his statement by congratulating citizens on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, stressing the company’s keenness to make every effort to ensure the provision of distinguished service befitting the people of Qalyubia Governorate during the days of Eid.
