I witnessed Port Said Governorate During the past 24 hours, there have been intense service and executive events, ranging from field campaigns to remove occupancies and encroachments in a number of neighborhoods, infrastructure development and road paving work, in addition to the continuation of campaigns to recover state lands within wave 28, as part of the efforts of the executive agencies to improve the level of services provided to citizens and preserve the civilized appearance of the governorate.

In the city of Port Fouad, the city mayor continued campaigns to remove occupancies in the vicinity of the National Party’s residences and a number of vital streets, with an emphasis on not allowing encroachments to return again, coinciding with the continuation of paving and developing the area’s streets and raising the efficiency of sidewalks, sidewalks and pedestrian paths, in addition to implementing a new sewage network serving 118 properties and raising the efficiency of the public lighting system.

In the Al-Sharq neighborhood, intensive cleaning campaigns continued on the main streets, including mechanical sweeping, sand shoveling, and waste removal. The squares designated for Eid al-Fitr prayers were also prepared by leveling the lands and removing waste to ensure that citizens were received in an organized and safe atmosphere.

The Arab neighborhood witnessed the implementation of campaigns to raise occupancy in a number of streets, in conjunction with the maintenance work of green spaces in the Yasmine and Al-Usra Gardens, in addition to following up on the maintenance work of the public lighting network in a number of vital streets.

In the Al-Manakh neighborhood, the executive agencies carried out an expanded campaign targeting the sorting shops and pickers in the C6 area. The campaign resulted in the confiscation of 8 bags of sorting waste and the waxing of 5 illegal shops used for illegal storage, with the necessary legal measures being taken against the violators.

Al-Zohour District also continued cleaning and waste removal work in a number of areas, in addition to distributing 16 new garbage bins to support the cleaning system and improve the level of services provided to citizens.

In the Suburbia neighborhood, campaigns to remove occupancy in a number of streets continued, with the removal of an unlicensed kiosk and the confiscation of a number of violations, in parallel with the follow-up of cleaning work, removing garbage collections, and shoveling sand in the Al-Qabouti area.

The South District witnessed the implementation of campaigns to remove encroachments on state lands as part of the 28th wave, where illegal buildings erected without a license by the Al-Isra and Al-Obour Agricultural Associations were removed on an area exceeding 1,670 square meters, as part of the state’s efforts to impose the rule of law and recover the encroached lands.

The work of removing spraying waste also continued in the Sayyed Metwally area in front of the Al-Qabouti Youth Center, in implementation of the governor’s directives to quickly remove accumulations and improve the urban appearance of the area, in addition to the continuation of the work of the second phase of developing the Industrialization and New Salam areas in the Al-Dawahi neighborhood, which includes raising the efficiency of streets, sidewalks, drainage and lighting networks, and developing green areas.

In a related context, the governorate witnessed intensive oversight tours on a number of vital sectors, as health leaders inspected Al-Nasr Specialist Hospital to follow up on the level of medical services, while the Supply Directorate and the Food Safety Authority carried out extensive campaigns on the markets, which resulted in the seizure of food items unfit for consumption and the issuance of reports for violators.

The Directorate of Education also launched the “My School Creates Leaders” initiative to prepare a generation of female students with leadership and decision-making skills, while the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine implemented a campaign to vaccinate dogs against rabies in the Al-Masla area, in conjunction with awareness-raising initiatives for young people about the dangers of addiction in fields and youth centers.
