However, the security forces were able to arrest the accused while the weapon was in his possession, which was found to contain a bullet of the same caliber, and by searching the bag in his possession. The accused found unlicensed firearms inside it.
The Second Circuit of Terrorism, held in the Wadi El-Natroun Center, had previously sentenced the liquor industry tycoon, Mufid S, to life imprisonment on charges of possessing explosives, two tear gas hand grenades without obtaining a license, and firearms, including three shotguns.
