English reports close to Manchester City confirmed that the team does not plan to sell its striker Omar Marmoush during the upcoming summer transfer period, stressing that any potential transfer must stem from the desire of the player himself.

The “Football Inside” website said that Marmoush’s future remains linked to his personal initiative, as City will not sell any of its current players, while any potential changes in the team’s leadership under the supervision of coach Pep Guardiola could affect the players’ chances of participating next season.

Accordingly, the player’s position is expected to remain open until the end of the season to determine his next steps in the summer transfer window.

Marmoush joined City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025, and made a strong start in the English Premier League by scoring 7 goals in the first 16 matches, before his participation opportunities decreased this season due to the fierce competition for the attacking positions led by Erling Haaland and the joining of players such as Ryan Cherki and Antoine Cemino, which limited his participation to 7 matches in the Premier League and his appearances more in the local cup tournaments.
