Allocating 160 pieces to young people from the city of Balat
The New Valley Governorate explained in a statement that the lottery resulted in the allocation of 160 plots for young people from the city of Balat, with 239 applications included on the waiting list, provided that the rest of the stages of drawing the lottery will be completed in the remaining villages successively according to the approved timetables, and in a manner consistent with the controls and rules regulating this regard.
She added that the lottery comes in implementation of the directives of Dr. Hanan Magdy, Governor of the New Valley, to enhance the availability of development opportunities and facilitate procedures for allocating agricultural lands to youth.
