The Ministry of Defense announced Emirati Intercepting 7 ballistic missiles and 16 drones launched by Iran on Monday.

The war between Iran and Israel

According to Reuters, since the start of the US-Israeli campaign against Iran on February 28, the UAE is the country most targeted by Iran, as it has been exposed to 352 ballistic missiles, 15 winged missiles, and 1,789 drones.

The number of daily attacks began to gradually decline during the war.

In a related context, Egypt condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli forces’ escalation of their aggression against the sister Republic of Lebanon, and their deliberate and systematic targeting of vital civilian installations and infrastructure, including the bridges linking the Lebanese regions, in a flagrant violation of Lebanese sovereignty, and a grave violation of the rules of international law and the United Nations Charter.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt condemned its firm and supportive position in support of the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Lebanese state, and its full solidarity with its institutions in this delicate circumstance, and demands full commitment to implementing Security Council Resolution No. 1701 in all its provisions and elements without selectivity, and in a way that ensures that the Lebanese state institutions, most notably the Lebanese army, are enabled to carry out their responsibilities, extend their sovereignty over all Lebanese territory, and place weapons under their exclusive authority.

Egypt also affirmed that the deliberate destruction of infrastructure in Lebanon represents a blatant Israeli policy of collective punishment, and leads to the forced displacement of about a million Lebanese and the emptying of entire areas of their population. It stressed its condemnation of using the humanitarian crisis and the suffering of civilians as a tool for military and political pressure, and the need for the international community, first and foremost the Security Council, to act immediately to deter these Israeli practices that violate international law, without further deterioration in the security and humanitarian conditions, and to spare Lebanon the risk of sliding into further instability.
