According to the current situation, the 33-year-old is expected to play his last match in a Liverpool shirt at Anfield against Brentford, in the final round of the English Premier League, scheduled to be held on Sunday, May 24.

However, Salah’s career with the team may extend after this match, if Liverpool qualifies for the Champions League final, which will be held on May 30 at the Puskas Arena in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, especially since the team will face Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals.

Coach Arne Slot’s team also returns to competitions after the international break with a strong confrontation against Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals, which opens the door to the possibility of Salah appearing in additional matches, and perhaps playing two matches at Wembley Stadium before his departure.

The statement indicated that the full celebration of the player’s legacy will take place later this year, coinciding with his final appearance at Anfield, in a farewell that is expected to be historic.
