crowned Muhammad Al-Sayed The Egyptian national team player won the bronze medal in fencing, as part of the World Cup for Adults, which is being held in the city of Astana, Kazakhstan, from the 26th to the 29th of this month.
Mohamed Al-Sayed won the bronze medal, after losing to Roman Svechkar, the Ukrainian champion, with a score of 7-15, in the golden square match of the World Arms Championship.
The Egyptian national team player opened his campaign in the World Cup by defeating the South Korean champion with a score of 12-7 in the round of 64 competitions, before continuing his journey and winning the Hong Kong champion Hui Son Fung in the round of 32 with a score of 15-14 with the golden touch.
In the round of 16, Mohamed Al-Sayed was able to overcome Kirill Onishchuk, the champion of the neutral country, with a score of 15-5, before defeating Marco Brinkmann, the German champion, with a score of 15-9 in the quarter-final match.
Mohamed Al-Sayed’s coronation of the World Championship bronze medal comes a few days after his achievement Bronze medal as well, in the fencing competition at the American University Championships.
It is noteworthy that Mohamed El-Sayed won the bronze medal in fencing during the 2024 Olympic Games held in Paris.
