The Menoufia Endowments Directorate began implementing a new step in supporting vulnerable families, by delivering 2,000 bags of food supplies to the governorate’s general office, in a scene that reflects the cohesion of state institutions and the integration of their roles to serve the most needy citizens.
This initiative comes within the framework of ongoing cooperation between the Ministry of Endowments and the Ministry of Social Solidarity, with the aim of expanding the umbrella of social protection and reaching eligible groups efficiently and transparently.
The handover process witnessed the presence of Dr. Moawad Hammad, who confirmed that these efforts come in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Endowments regarding maximizing the benefit from the feeding bonds project, which represents one of the Ministry’s most prominent tools in achieving the humanitarian and societal dimension.
He explained that the project aims to deliver food support on a regular and organized basis, ensuring justice in distribution and meeting the needs of the most needy families in various villages and centers.
This move reflects the Egyptian state’s keenness to strengthen the concept of social solidarity, by coordinating efforts between its various institutions, in a way that contributes to alleviating the living burdens on citizens, especially in light of the current economic challenges. It also confirms that community work is no longer an individual effort, but rather an integrated system that seeks to achieve societal stability and support vulnerable groups.
The Ministry of Endowments continues its vital role in this field, through specific initiatives aimed at achieving sustainable community development and consolidating the values of compassion and cooperation among the people of the country, in an image that reflects the humanitarian face of the state.
