Directorate continued Supply in Qalyubia Its intensive oversight efforts began with the beginning of the new year, and with the follow-up of Engineer Amal Abdel Qawi, Undersecretary of the Directorate, three surprise campaigns were implemented that included: the Supply Control Department in the Directorate in the Kafr Shukr area – the Supply Department of Banha Center and City – the Supply Department of the West Shubra Al-Kheima district, in order to follow up on the regularity of disbursing rations, the availability of goods, and to ensure that merchants and bakeries adhere to the regulating laws.
Continuous monitoring campaigns
The campaigns resulted in:
Issuing 10 catering violations to municipal bakeries (production of underweight bread – production of bread that does not conform to specifications – failure to clean kneading tools – failure to provide a dispensing bottle – lack of an operating menu – closing during official working hours without permission).
28 reports were also issued against tourist and French bakeries and various commercial activities for not announcing prices.
The Qalyubia Supply Directorate confirmed the continuation of daily monitoring campaigns, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership, and in the interest of controlling markets and ensuring that support reaches those who deserve it.
This comes within the framework of instructions issued by Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Qalyubia, and in implementation of the immediate assignments issued by Dr. Tamer Salah Mokhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry – Director of the Qalyubia Supply Directorate.
