Preparing a city Luxor To host the most prominent technical event for university youth; The Faculty of Computers and Information at Luxor University, in cooperation with the Faculty of Computers, Information and Artificial Intelligence at Luxor National University, is organizing the “LUXSAI” Summit for Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence, on March 28 and 29.
Luxor University launches the “LUXSAI” Summit
The summit is sponsored by Dr. Sabreen Abdel Galil, President of Luxor University, and under the supervision of Dr. Osama Abu Al-Nasr, Dean of the Faculty.
Technology competitions and innovation hackathons
The summit includes the launch of a national cybersecurity competition (CTF) for student teams, as well as the organization of a hackathon for innovative projects.

Registration is open from 2 to 12 March 2026, with the preliminary qualifiers beginning in the middle of the month, leading to the finals that will be held in Luxor, with accommodation and food provided for the qualifying teams.
Linking scientific research to the labor market
The activities aim to enhance the skills of Egyptian university students (governmental, private, and private) in precise technological specializations.
It includes extensive discussion sessions that bring together digital transformation experts and representatives of government and private institutions. The sessions discuss promising career paths and the role of state institutions and civil society in supporting the technological entrepreneurship system.
Financial rewards and incubation opportunities
The top three teams in the Cybersecurity Competition and Innovation Hackathon will be crowned with valuable financial prizes, in addition to providing incubation opportunities and real support for the winning projects through the Fund for Welfare of Innovators and Geniuses at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The LUXSAI Summit is a strategic step towards enhancing cybersecurity skills and artificial intelligence applications, as Luxor University seeks, through this event, to support digital transformation plans and qualify a new generation of technological cadres capable of competing in the labor market.
