In a related context, Hurghada International Airport is receiving, throughout the hours of Friday, 96 flights carrying approximately 19,000 tourists of different nationalities, as part of the increasing tourism movement witnessed by the Red Sea Governorate and the high rates of demand for beach destinations in the city of Hurghada.
German tourist traffic tops the list of European nationalities arriving to Hurghada, in light of a noticeable recovery in occupancy rates in hotels and tourist villages in various parts of the city.
This increase in tourist occupancy comes as a result of the efforts made by the tourism sector to enhance Hurghada’s position as a preferred destination for tourists from different countries of the world, through developing the tourism infrastructure, improving the level of services, and providing an integrated experience for visitors.
The city offers a variety of recreational activities that attract tourists, including cruises, diving, and water sports, in addition to learning about local culture through traditional markets and restaurants serving Egyptian cuisine, which contributes to enhancing the accommodation experience and supporting the tourism sector in the governorate.
